1. Cotton Fabric: Naturally skin-friendly, absorbent and breathable, soft and non-irritating to the skin when worn next to the body, and relatively affordable. However, it has poor elasticity and tends to stretch and tighten when stretched significantly. It may also shrink and deform after washing, making it more suitable for low-intensity, gentle yoga practice.
2. Polyester Fabric: Lightweight and elastic, it conforms to the body's curves, has good wrinkle resistance and shape retention, is durable, easy to wash, and quick-drying. However, its breathability is average; it can stick to the body after sweating during exercise, resulting in slightly less comfort.
3. Nylon Fabric: Highly abrasion-resistant, with good elasticity that provides some support, and excellent quick-drying properties. However, its breathability is poor, and it can feel stuffy and hot after prolonged wear, making it suitable for fast-paced practices like Vinyasa yoga, which involve heavy sweating.
4. Lycra (spandex) fabric: It is extremely elastic, allowing clothes to perfectly conform to the body's movements and quickly return to its original shape after stretching. However, it is relatively stiff and has poor breathability when worn alone, so it is generally not used alone. It is mostly blended with other fabrics to improve the stretch of the clothes.
